Well in truth I don't know much about Bas Leinders.
He's Belgian. He raced in lower Formulae. In 2004 he made his F1 debut as test driver for Minardi in his home Grand Prix. Since then no-one's really heard from him.
One thing's for sure, he's probably unlikely to get another shot in Formula 1.

after his F1 Shot, Bas Leinders goes back to Formula One Nissan in 2005. He's not only have drive in Spa in 2004 but in all the season 2004 and driving faster than the other minardi drivers from those year. Anyway he probably will not have anymore chance in F1 due to money needing.
